Rope access competition
The team rope access competition is the sporting facet and centerpiece of the event. Each team of three rope access workers participates in various qualifying events, designed to be both enjoyable and close to the reality of their work.
They must master the techniques pertinent to rope access, demonstrate coordination, and fully understand the set-up of the entire system. Speed of execution is an important criterion, but the judges are above all interested in how the participants respect safety regulations while moving around at height. In terms of qualifications, the strongest teams will meet at the semi-finals, and then in the finals, in a venue open to the public. The winning team will receive a trophy. Skill, speed and team spirit come together for an always spectacular event.
